So, This Thing Kinda Happened...
Sitting at my desk (cubicle) last week, I was contemplating how I was going to answer the questions on my annual review that were looming over my (in front of me in the Inbox of my email) head. I know that over the course of the year, since the last review, that I have become complacent in my desires to do more and to be more within my position at the company that I work for. The true realization was that I hadn't taken time to sit down and realize or even brainstorm about who I am, what I want, or where I should be now or even in another year from now.
After this jarring realization, I decided that I am probably not the only one who wants to do more and be more within their current life situation. I know that my current direction of travel needs to be realigned with my core values and current mindset. I know that I need to create my own path with my own intentions.
The name of the blog, JPhi Designs, came about after a stint in sign making but I realized that the name is truly what I hope to achieve. Merriam-Webster defines the word Design as follows below:

That's what I want to do. I want to design a life that fits me. I want to sketch out the plans for the ultimate masterpiece. I want to lay out the blue prints for the perfect storm. I need to devise a plan in which I can execute to achieve my dreams.
I am a single Mom to a wonderful son. I want to be able to provide for him the best possible life and environment possible. I need to learn, discover, and grow to be able to turn my design into a reality.
I have created this blog as a testimony to my ideologies about how to amplify my personal life, career, and mindset. Please, take away from this what you will in your own personal crusade for self-discovery.
